BlueGen is a modular generator that produces continuous low-emission electricity using widely available natural gas.  BlueGen's ceramic fuel cell technology converts natural gas into electricity with very high efficiency - the highest in the world, in fact.

About the size of a small washing machine, BlueGen connects to your existing natural gas, electricity, and water supply. It typically produces over 13,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per year.  That's two to three times more than the average home needs, with any excess electricity exported to the grid.  BlueGen's optional heat recovery system also provides domestic hot water.

BlueGen reduces carbon dioxide emissions by generating electricity more efficiently than the grid. By using fuel cells to generate power at the point of use and recovering the heat, we can produce more with less and that's good news for the environment.
